Remote Site Support

The nature of maritime operations are such that the difficulties associated with working in remote, hostile environments are greatly amplified when the same work must be performed at sea. The hazardous nature of maritime operations often becomes sadly evident when an accident occurs.

Sustained maritime operations in the remote areas of the world present a number of obstacles to mission success. To overcome these obstacles requires extensive training - along with vessels that can support extended, autonomous operations - providing a base of operations for mission critical SAR and interdiction craft and helicopters. Such vessels must possess the facilities necessary to house and feed all personnel, fuel and maintain craft/helicopters and must have a complete communications suite.

Pistris can immediately deploy a number of Maritime Support Vessels (MSVs) designed to support a wide variety of maritime security, interdiction and sustainment missions. These vessels are modified Offshore Logistics Vessels - previously used to support the offshore oil and gas industry - that are truly unique assets unavailable elsewhere.

These MSVs are capable of extended autonomous operations, supporting air and water operations as well as providing logistic
support to embarked personnel. They are purpose-built as cost-effective solutions to the problems of littoral dominance, and can serve as mobile command and control centers, schoolhouses and remote operating bases.
